    Changes made to Richmond Hill HS graduation

    RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WSAV)- Parents of Richmond Hill students received text messages today about the upcoming changes that will take place for graduation and dismissal.

    Due to inclement weather coming to the area, the School District is making some changes to ensure that the graduating class still has a memorable and inclusive celebration.

    Graduation for Richmond Hill High School will now take place on Friday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m. at Glynn County Stadium.

    To accommodate the schedule change, all Bryan County Schools will release students and staff early that day as well.

    Students will be provided with lunch before dismissal.

    Students who participate in the afterschool program will transition to their program immediately following dismissal, operating as normal.

    Below is the early dismissal schedule set for Friday:

    • 1st Tier

    Richmond Hill High School (RHHS),

    McAllister Elementary School (MES),

    Francis Meeks Elementary (FME):

    Dismissal Bell – 11:45 a.m.

    • 2nd Tier

    Richmond Hill Middle School (RHMS):

    Dismissal Bell – 12:20 p.m.

    • 3rd Tier

    Richmond Hill Primary School (RHPS),

    Richmond Hill Elementary School (RHES),

    George Washington Carver School (GWC):

    Dismissal Bell – 1:20 p.m.

    RHHS does have plans to communicate with their Seniors regarding specific information about the changes.
