UGA to honor former Georgia Chief Justice Robert Benham with Footsteps Award
The University of Georgia this week announced that retired Georgia Supreme Court Judge Robert Benham will receive the 2024 Footsteps Award during an event Friday in Atlanta. The award will be presented to Benham by the 1961 Club, a society that supports the Black Alumni Scholarship Fund, according to UGA Today, an online media outlet for the university. The retired judge is a 1970 graduate of the UGA School of Law.
