MONTEVIDEO, Minn. — Minnesotans honored on Tuesday a family man and community pillar whose life ended too soon.Andy Coulter died of cancer in March, leaving a hole in the Montevideo community he loved dearly. Sleepy Eye man sentenced to prison for woman’s death at boat landing
A Sleepy Eye man has been sentenced to about 6 ½ in prison on manslaughter charges. Casey Dlynn Narvaez, 39, was convicted Monday in Nicollet County Court in the death of 35-year-old Kayla Hulsey. Redwood River project upstream from Lake Redwood helps with flood and erosion control
A new earthen dam and series of terraces was built three miles upstream from Lake Redwood late last year, and farmers and other landowners should see improvements in flood and erosion control starting this spring. The dam and terraces are designed to control water volume and velocity to protect infrastructure and improve water quality.
