Nevada Wolf Pack running back Sean Dollars was released from the hospital on Saturday night, the Nevada Athletic Department announced Monday.

Dollars suffered an injury to his head or neck area after the Silver and Blue football scrimmage ended on Saturday at Mackay Stadium.

After the Blue team won 21-15 in the scrimmage, the Wolf Pack planned to run a few more plays out of some short yardage and other situations when Dollars was injured. He was taken off the field on a stretcher with his head taped to the board.

Dollars was released from the hospital Saturday night after tests were negative, according to a statement from the Nevada Athletic department.

The release said: "All tests came back negative, and Sean was discharged from the hospital Saturday night."

Last season, Dollars, now a redshirt senior, was the Wolf Pack's leading rusher, gaining 527 yards and scoring six touchdowns on 151 carries.

The Silver and Blue Game usually marks the end of spring football practices at Nevada, but coach Jeff Choate is having one final practice on Tuesday, April 16.
