Reno Woman Gets 30 Years in Prison in Drug Trafficking Case
A Reno woman was sentenced to 30 years in prison this week after being found guilty of drug related-charges. The Washoe County District Attorney's Office says 52-year-old Lameda White will be eligible for parole after 11.5 years. She was convicted in a drug trafficking case involving five pounds of methamphetamine.
Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested After Late-Night Pursuit in Reno
A man faces several charges after he led Reno Police officers on a late-night pursuit after stealing a Good Samaritan's car. Police say the incident started just after 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday when the suspect, Damien Silvanus was involved in a crash involving a U-Haul truck hitting a utility pole near Robb Dr. and Sapphire Ridge Way.
Reno Police releases footage of Virginia City Highlands chase, shooting
RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The Reno Police Department (RPD) has released the footage of the police chase that occurred in Virginia City Highlands on May 9, 2023. On the afternoon of May 9, at approximately 2:50 p.m., an RPD officer spotted and identified Tyler Woolley in a parked vehicle in the area of Mira Loma Park in Reno. Woolley had an active extraditable felony warrant for an arrest for prohibited person possession of a firearm issued from Carson City.

2 Californians plead guilty to drug charges; 1 other woman convicted
RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Two California residents have pleaded guilty to drug charges, and another woman has been sentenced to 25 years for her own, separate drug conviction. 52-year-old Lameda White will be eligible for parole after 10 years. She was found guilty of possession with intent to sell schedule 1 controlled substances. In addition, White will also serve 60 months in prison with parole eligibility after 18 months for trafficking in or possession of a schedule 1 or 2 substance from a prior conviction.

Fernley man charged with stealing from company at TRIC
A Fernley man was arrested May 16 by the Storey County Sheriff’s Office after an investigation into theft from a company at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. According to the Storey County Sheriff’s Office, on May 16, Storey County deputies were made aware of an arrest warrant issued out of Virginia Township Justice Court. They served the arrest warrant in the TRIC area of the county on Timothy McDowell, 48, of Fernley, and he was booked into Storey County Detention Center.
