Upcountry History Museum exhibit commemorates D-Day 80th anniversary
The Upcountry History Museum will open its “D-Day, June 6, 1944: The Memory Lives On” May 18. Curated by the museum and created in collaboration with Greenville Library System’s Hughes Main Library, Clemson University, the U.S. Naval History and Command, and a private collector, the exhibit will feature 25 to 30 items, including art depicting scenes from the D-Day landings and invasion of Normandy, military uniforms, letters and photos of soldiers, historic newspapers and maps.
Greenville Theatre to close 98th season with ‘Escape to Margaritaville’
