Dothan students compete in a cornhole competition for scholarships
DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Students at the top of their class showed off their cornhole skills at Dothan High. “Why cornhole?” said Todd Mitchell, Principal at Carver Ninth Grade Academy. “Because it doesn’t favor an athlete, it doesn’t favor a basketball player. We wanted to get something that everyone can do at twenty feet.”

Northview football looking to rebuild and reload after losing valuable senior class
Northview football found itself in a tied game with 23 seconds left at Bozeman in the Region 1-1R semifinals. The Bucks, at the time undefeated, were the top seed in Region 1, ultimately falling in the state semifinals. And the Chiefs were on the brink of an upset, the fifth seed in the region. Hicks named new Northside Methodist volleyball coach
DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Northside Methodist Academy in Dothan has announced that Abby Hicks will be the school’s next head volleyball coach. A native of Dothan, Hicks played volleyball at the high school level at Houston Academy and later spent three seasons as a coach for the Lady Raiders junior varsity team following graduation.
