Minden cemetery honors veterans buried there
MINDEN, Neb. (KSNB) - The city of Minden is no stranger to services on Memorial Day honoring those who served this country, but 2024′s was a little extra special. It’s all because of a memorial at the back of the Fredericksburg Cemetery. Several years ago, the idea of having a memorial wall to honor the veterans buried in the cemetery started, but COVID along with some other delays caused the project to stall.

Parkview Cemetery paving improvement project to continue Phase Four after Memorial Day
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The paving improvement project at Parkview Cemetery is in Phase 4, which will focus on the south and east sides of the grounds. Morten Construction of Kearney began work on Phase 4 of the paving project earlier this spring, after being awarded the contract for the project in 2023 in the amount of $367,084. Phase 4 was originally scheduled for completion in 2023.
