Women in the Field: Fly-Fishing Excursion 2024
This spring, G&G hosted its annual weekend of fly fishing in Highlands and Cashiers, North Carolina. The interactive sporting getaway kicked off on Thursday evening as guests gathered for a multicourse welcome dinner, featuring local ingredients and wine pairings at Old Edwards Inn & Spa. Early the next morning, the women embarked on a half-day of guided fly fishing followed by an awards reception with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails at Brookings Anglers.

Armed Forces Day Convoy
Let’s line the highways with waving flags and shouting, paying tribute to the military personnel serving in the United States Armed Forces on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 10am! The convoy will start in Dillard at the Piggly Wiggly heading south to Goats on the Roof, right at Goats on the Roof to the traffic light at the four corners in Tiger, then right going north on 441 to Clayton, down to the Pavilions behind the Rabun County Library. Rabun Gap celebrates College Decision Day
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School reports the class of 2024 celebrated College Decision Day on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. This year’s senior class earned more than 200 acceptances to some of the most competitive schools in the nation and across the globe. At least half of the Class of 2024 were accepted to U.S. News and World Report Top 50 colleges and universities. Students will attend 67 different schools in 26 states and 5 countries. Rabun Gap gives special thanks to its College Counseling team – Director of College Counseling, Ms. Cheryl Barber, and Associate Director of College Counseling, Ms. Lexi King – for working with each of its seniors throughout the college admissions process.
