Debbie Smith named Menominee County Fair manager
STEPHENSON — The Menominee County Fair announced that Debbie Smith has been appointed as the new Menominee County Fair Manager, effective this month. She has more than five and a half years experience as fair board treasurer. The fair will take place July 18-21 at Shakey Lakes Park, west of Stephenson.

IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WLUC) - The Maxx Entertainment Center in Iron Mountain staff called this event one of the biggest days they have ever had on Saturday. The $10 event had live music, a Pig Roasting food such as macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, pasta salad, baked beans, desserts, drinks, and raffles. U.P. welcome center closed indefinitely after storm causes water damage
IRON MOUNTAIN, MI – An Upper Peninsula welcome center is closed until further notice. The Michigan Department of Transportation said this week that a facility in Iron Mountain is closed for repairs after it suffered water damage during a storm on May 18. A leak formed due to rain and hail that came with the storm.
