Wills Point’s Sprague advances to Championship Round of Bass Pro Tour Stage Four
EUFAULA, Oklahoma (KLTV) - On Saturday, Jeff Sprague placed seventh in the Bass Pro Tour Stage Four Knockout Round, qualifying him to participate in the championship. Sprague had eight catches, for a total of 20 pounds, 14 ounces. For the Championship Round on Sunday, scores will be cleared to zero, and 10 anglers will compete to earn their final placement based on the day’s heaviest weights.

LONE OAK — The Lindale Lady Eagles scored a 9-8 area playoff win, shocking No. 1 Nevada Community on Friday. By winning the one-game playoff, the Lady Eagles advance to the regional quarterfinal round to face Canton next week. The Eaglettes swept Athens in an area series, 14-0 and 14-4.
Poetry Community Christian School’s Annual Swing Fore the Green Golf Tournament
Poetry Community Christian School is hosting its Annual Golf Tournament, Swing FORE the Green, on Friday, June 14 at Buffalo Creek Golf Club. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with a Shotgun Start at 8 a.m. Proceeds support the school’s Pioneer Activities Center which includes a middle and high school gymnasium, fully-equipped sports weight room, and a 45’ Christian Soldiers Karate studio to serve the school’s 60 karate students 2nd – 12th grades. The Center also houses team rooms, classrooms, and the expanded music department, while providing scheduling opportunities for elementary sports and extra-curriculars in the school’s current multi-purpose building.
