Seeking Travis Coleman: Missing man lost since April 22, 2023
Travis Coleman disappeared into the Wenatchee Foothills while suffering from a mental health crisis. He is now presumed dead, but his mother Denise McBurnie still hopes to bring home his remains, and plans a celebration of his life for the public this weekend.
Eastmont announces Del Enders as new EHS principal
EAST WENATCHEE — Eastmont High School has a new principal. Del Enders, who is most recently the Principal/Director of Assessment of the K-12 Silvies River Charter School in Salem, Oregon, has been tapped for the role. Enders replaces longtime Principal Lance Noell, who announced earlier this year he planned to return to teaching.
‘Guaranteed maximum price’ accepted for jail construction

Jacks win district title, head to state tourney
It sounds like a storybook ending – beating the undefeated league champions in the district title match – but the Jacks are aiming for more, in the state tournament. Getting to state and making a deep run was the Quincy High School boys soccer team’s objective from the start of the season, said head coach Hector Vaca. The Jacks earned their spot at state May 8 with a 1-0 victory over Bridgeport in the second round of the District 6 1A tournament. They will begin state competition Friday, May 17.

(The Center Square) – Wenatchee School District is closing the doors to Columbia Elementary following a unanimous School Board decision on Tuesday to "ensure the long-term sustainability" of the district.
