It’s 100/100,” said Philips. The road to Iowa County “I grew up in Van Buren County,” said Philips. He always knew he wanted to be a teacher. Though he had no family in education, two teachers inspired him to choose that vocation — fourth grade teacher Mark Church and math teacher Vicki Shepard. Tutoring during high school fed his decision to teach. He graduated from the University of Northern
