PORT CHARLOTTE — A fundraiser, known as a “Friendraiser,” takes place for Punta Gorda Youth Baseball and Softball All Stars from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday at Port Charlotte Hooters.

“We enjoy helping our local community and our long standing community partners including the Punta Gorda Youth Baseball and Softball Youth program,” Hooters of Port Charlotte Managing Partner Bryon Holley said.

The local All Stars will be working to raise funds for youth teams, according to a news release.

“During the event make sure to mention the Friendraiser to your server and 20% of your food and beverage sales will be donated to the Punta Gorda Youth Baseball and Softball All Stars,” it stated.

Port Charlotte Hooters made a donation at the start of the season of $1,500 to the Punta Gorda Youth Baseball and Softball, the news release stated.

“We look forward to seeing everyone on May 19 for a good cause,” LTP Management Director of Marketing Kristi Quarles stated. “We appreciate everyone’s support in helping youth sports teams raise funds in our community including for the Punta Gorda Youth Baseball and Softball All Stars.”
