HOLLAND - Senior night is a memorable game for high school football teams. This one had a little extra meaning for the Holland High School Dutch. Friday, Oct. 9, was the final senior night at Hope College's Ray & Sue Smith Stadium after 47 years. It didn't end the way the Dutch hoped, losing 51-21 to Comstock Park, but the moment was still memorable for the seniors especially, who took their traditional walk across the field together after the game . While the entire community is looking forward to this historic stadium, the Holland seniors concluded the 47-year history of home games on this site. "I don't think it is something I will forget," Holland senior Simon Garza said. "The cumulation of the past four years and the work I have put in on this team. I love everyone on this team." Predicting Week 7 high school football winners with Enquirer's Pigskin Picks
BATTLE CREEK - We have our snacks, our road pops, our map and we have gas in the truck. Pigskin Picks is going on the road this week.
