Weather Now: Unsettled Memorial Day Ahead

MONDAY MORNING (MEMORIAL DAY)

Monday morning will be cloudy and cool with temps in the low 60s to start. There’ll be lots of clouds around with a chance for some scattered light showers, but otherwise we’ll stay mainly dry for any parades or morning Memorial Day activities.

MONDAY AFTERNOON

Shower activity is expected to pick up for the second half of the day with the chance for some stronger storms especially during the later hours of the evening and overnight. Conditions will stay cloudy outside of any showers or storms with highs in the upper 60s.

We will be in a marginal risk for excessive rainfall due to downpours associated with thunderstorms late evening and overnight Monday.

Although the severe thunderstorm risk sits to the west of our immediate area, the chance for some stronger thunderstorms is possible with the main threats being heavy downpours and gusty winds.
