UPD: Arrest Made in Case Where Victim was Hit and Kicked for Refusing to Give Money to Suspect
UTICA, N.Y. -- An arrest was made after Utica Police Department officers responded to a fight between two men at Oneida Square. The incident occurred on May 16 at 7 a.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they saw "one male repeatedly striking another, and the officers gave multiple commands for this party to stop his actions," a UPD release stated,

Local softball fans will get a treat Wednesday if they make a trip to Monroeville. There will be a playoff tripleheader at Gateway. Penn-Trafford will play Thomas Jefferson at 3 p.m. in one WPIAL 5A semifinal, followed by Hempfield and Norwin at 5 in a 6A semifinals, and Latrobe faces Thomas Jefferson at 7 in the other 5A semifinal.
Utica Stampede Rodeo and Expo set to return
UTICA — The 2024 Utica Stampede Rodeo and Expo will return to the Adirondack Bank Center at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 2-3. New for 2024 is the VIP Cowboy Experience, which allows fans to meet the horses and bulls, interact with the cowboys and the rodeo clown, and enjoy exclusive photo opportunities on the dirt before the event.
