‘Miracle’ twin foals born in Boonville
BOONVILLE — It is being described as nothing short of a miracle: a local Welsh pony gave birth to twin foals, and they are all defying the odds by remaining in good health. In the early hours of April 17 at Hunter Hack Farms in Boonville, 12-year-old Indy — a Fferm Gwenffrd Welsh pony — gave birth to a 55-pound male foal, named Johnny Walker, who was born at 12:10 a.m. Upon his birth, Johnny was described as a “strong stout colt” with “a vibrant palomino” color. An hour and 10 minutes later, Indy gave birth to a female foal, named One in a Million, or “Millie,” who weighed in just around 20 pounds, and was described as having a “very rich palomino” color.

Quiet weather sticks around until the mid to late afternoon as highs climb into the upper 50s to low 60s. If we're lucky, clouds will clear enough to see some sunshine today. Rain chances return again though late primarily south as low pressure arrives from the southwest and then slowly shifts north overnight.
