PARKER COUNTY, Texas (KTVT) — People in Poolville, Texas, are picking up the pieces after storms swept through early Friday morning, leaving a trail of destruction. An EF-1 tornado developed there around 5 a.m., according to the National Weather Service, which confirmed the twister after surveying the damage on Friday afternoon. DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Souleymane Koureissi scored the go-ahead basket with 36 seconds left, DaQuan Smith had 20 points and Radford beat Tarleton State 72-70 in overtime Sunday night in the first round of the CBI Tournament. Koureissi, on the right block, turned into the lane and then spun baseline as he kissed a shot off the glass to give Radford the lead for good. Smith was 8-of-15 shooting (3 for 6 from 3-point range) for the Highlanders (20-14). Shaquan Jules scored 16 points while finishing 8 of 8 from the floor, and added six rebounds. Bryan Antoine was 5-of-7 shooting (3 for 5 from 3-point range) to finish with 13 points. The Texans (16-16) were led by Freddy Hicks, who posted 30 points, 11 rebounds and four steals.
