2 dead, 2 injured in Decatur County crash, Iowa State Patrol says
DECATUR COUNTY, Iowa — Two people are dead and two others are injured after a crash in southern Iowa Friday night, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report. An SUV was driving north on Lineville Road when it failed to yield to a stop sign at the intersection with Highway 2, striking the side of a pickup truck at 7:40 p.m. Friday.

Newtown-Harris board confirms Career Ladder for next school year
The Newtown-Harris R-3 Board of Education approved the Career Ladder program and summer school for the upcoming school year on May 8th.
