Superior HOG to host Blessing of the Bikes with Bald Eagle Harley Davidson
MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - U.P. bikers are gearing up for motorcycle season. To help them prepare, Superior Chapter Harley Owners Group (HOG) is hosting a Blessing of the Bikes ceremony on Saturday with Bald Eagle Harley Davidson. The Christian Motorcycle Association will be leading a prayer to bless the motorcycles with safety as the season begins. There will also be food, drinks and a group ride after the blessing.

Volunteers cleared Forestville Trailhead for annual ‘Dirt Ball’
MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC)—The Noquemanon Trail Network (NTN) hosted its annual Dirt Ball on Saturday. Volunteers who love trails helped prepare a half-mile of Forestville Trailhead for the hiking season. The celebration of trails starts with the Work Bee. Volunteers cut branches, removed roots and smoothed the tread. The group had lunch and walked the trails.
Carden International Circus entertains Marquette
MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Crews were hard at work on Friday setting up the Carden International Circus in Marquette. It’s a three-ring circus with acts from all over the world, including acrobats, globe motorcyclists and BMX riders. Rain clears to cooler air followed by an active trend
An area of low pressure is moving across the Southern U.P. early this morning. As it tracks east the rain will gradually end by around midday. Slightly cooler air will follow for a couple of days and with clearing out overnight temps could drop into the 30s. A cold front moves in Friday into Saturday and light rain showers will move into the Western U.P. by mid-afternoon. Scattered showers will continue into Saturday morning. Rain chances have increased for Sunday as models hint at another front coming in earlier.
