Goodbye, Alley: Fayetteville bids farewell to a cultural cornerstone
On April 5, members of the local community gathered at AM/PM Bar in south Fayetteville for an evening of live music in collaboration with Hop-Out DIY and local music artists. The Alley, the location that housed the AM/PM, has been a gathering place for members of Fayetteville’s do-it-yourself (DIY) scene since its inception in the 1970s, allowing artists, musicians and creatives of all kinds a space to create, express themselves and find a community.

FAYETTEVILLE — Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College freshman running back Tyreek Reed will begin his official visit to Arkansas on Thursday. Reed, 5-9, 205, is a speedster who rushed 132 times for 833 yards and 13 touchdowns while catching one pass for five yards in 11 games. He also returned a pair of kickoffs for 22 yards.
