Since November 6th, the pool at CHS has been under construction leaving students and teachers unable to go to their clubs or classes that need the pool. In response to the pool being constructed, swim coaches such as Ms. Moxley and Mr. Crane have been teaching at the ACP Campus or K Building. It can be hard for those teachers because their classes are based on water activities and lessons, so without water, it is difficult to teach a single lesson. Every week the pool is used during and after school for multiple reasons, such as beginning swim classes, swim and dive, and other occasions held after school. The pool being under construction has left some students wondering what could’ve been wrong with it beforehand, but Chandler High swim coach Ms. Moxley has some answers.

Growing up, my mom always shared a very odd dream of hers with us kids. She always wanted to buy an old school to make it the family home. She wanted to turn each classroom into bedrooms, living rooms, and entertaining spaces. The commercial kitchen would do for our large family. Having a gym in your home is every child's dream, and the auditorium could have become the family theater/TV room.
