Pair of local school districts among those receiving funds from state program
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced Wednesday $88 million for several Ohio school districts as part of the Appalachian Community Innovation Centers Program. The Indian Creek Local School District will be receiving a little more than $6.5 million, which will go towards a new 14,000 square foot facility at Hills Elementary school. Classes at a small West Virginia school will be relocated this fall, two years after the town’s contaminated groundwater was added to a national cleanup priority list.
