Eagles unable to fend off comeback
The Pleasanton Eagles baseball team concluded their season on the diamond Saturday following a tough series against Bishop. LB duo advances to State
JOURDANTON – April Leopold and Olivia Etzler advanced to state for the second year in a row with a second place finish at the Region IV-3A Tournament last week. The LB were the #2 seed coming into the tournament and were defeated by the top seed, Jourdanton in the finals 6-7, 7-5, 7-5.

The all-girl Poteet High School racing team zoomed into third place at the 2024 Alamo City Electrathon (ACE) Race held on April 19. With the vision to generate excitement and awareness of vocational opportunities associated with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), the competition took place at the Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall in San Antonio.
