Man killed in industrial accident at Slaton cotton facility
A 62-year-old man died after an industrial accident at a cotton processing facility Thursday morning in Slaton. Grace Reglin picked up a trio of gold medals in the District 5-2A track meet last week. The Tahoka junior took first in the high jump, 100 and 200 and added a second-place finish in the long jump. Reglin garnered 71.78% of the vote to be named female athlete of the week.

Lynn Co. Sheriff Abraham Vega to be on Texas Peace Officers Memorial in Austin
LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The late Lynn County Sheriff Abraham Vega will be memorialized at the State Capitol. Vega died from COVID-19 in 2020.
