PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – A woman faces a kidnapping charge after a 5-year-old boy went missing for several hours early Friday morning.

LeeAnne N. Osborne, 31, was spotted with the boy in the area of SE 151st Avenue and Mill Street around 7 a.m., nearly five hours after the boy was seen leaving his home with her around 2:30 a.m.

Osborne and the boy took a TriMet bus near SE 162nd Avenue Stark Street and were later seen walking in the area of SE 122nd Avenue and Division Street before the arrest, according to police.

“Other than the woman frequenting the area and occasionally seeing [the boy] outside his home, detectives have found no connection between the two,” officials said.
