JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The prospects for seeing the Northern Lights from Johnson City, Tennessee, this weekend and tonight are influenced by space weather conditions and geographical location. Despite increased solar activity and a forecast for severe geomagnetic storms on May 12 and 13, which could lead to more visible auroras even at lower latitudes, Johnson City was unlikely to experience the Northern Lights.
