Suspect arrested for attempted murder in Ponchatoula
On Thursday, June 1, 2023, Ponchatoula Police were dispatched to the area of Canal Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers observed a black male lying in the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound. Further investigation revealed that during a family dispute, the victim, Bryan Wilson, (aka Shakey Head) was shot. As a result of this investigation, William Grady, Jr., was arrested and booked on one count of Attempted 2nd degree murder. This investigation is still ongoing.
