The nonprofit that oversees the Luzerne County Fair is seeking $500,000 of the county’s remaining federal American Rescue Plan Act funding to repair flood damage at the Dallas fairground caused by severe September 2023 rain, according to a submission up for discussion at Tuesday’s county council work session.
Kingston police round up wanted alleged drug dealers
Kingston police organized a drug-dealer roundup on Thursday, seeking out 17 people wanted for allegedly peddling narcotics across Luzerne County during the past year. Working with the Luzerne County Drug Task Force and police departments from across the county, officers spent the day arresting people who are accused of selling drugs such as fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine and crack during undercover buy-bust operations.

LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — Our Brother's Keeper held its 3rd annual Alcohol and Addiction Awareness event Saturday at Robert Yaple Memorial Park in Hughestown.
