Thruway crash in Chili kills a maintenance worker and seriously injures another employee
A crash on the Thruway in the town of Chili on Thursday afternoon killed one Thruway Authority maintenance worker and seriously injured another. State Police say it happened just before 12:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway when a tractor trailer driven by 64-year-old Thomas Lis of Central Square, New York, struck the two men who were in a work zone at the time.
