The stoplight density in Terre haute is insane

I do not mind Terre Haute. Sure, it is not the nicest place of all time, but campus is pretty, and there are plenty of places to eat and shop. There is one thing that really ruins the whole vibe for me though, and that is the terrible stoplight density. I am sure it is not terrible everywhere, but it is by far the worst right in front of campus, which is probably one of the most highly trafficked places. Not only is it in front of a college campus, but it is also fairly soon after the merge between 63 and 41. Two highways merging into a road filled to the brim with stoplights is a recipe for disaster. I am sure most students can agree that anything from trying to get out on a Friday to being late for an off-campus job.
