Marshfield man out $1,600 after falling victim to ‘kidnapping’ scam
MADISON, Wis. (WSAW) - The Marshfield Police Department said a man is out nearly $1,700 after falling victim to online scam. Saturday, police investigated the incident. The man said he had been in contact with a woman who was the victim of a kidnapping. The woman said she was in Wisconsin.
