Washington Township, NJ – This morning, the Washington Police issued an alert to help locate a missing 14-year-old girl, Jaydyn Wright, from Washington Boro. Jordan is a 5'1" Black girl with black hair, weighing around 125 pounds. She has a noticeable birthmark on her right knee. She was last seen wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt. Hunterdon Commissioners Back Legislation To Address "Squatting" And Protect Property Owner Rights
FLEMINGTON, NJ - At their recent Board meeting, Hunterdon County Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution supporting Senate Bill No. 725 and Assembly Bill No. 731, to criminalize the unlawful occupancy of a dwelling also known as "squatting". Under the current New Jersey law, squatting is not a criminal act, but rather a civil matter that requires a property owner to file a claim to evict, which often takes years to resolve. Easton mayor announces new director of planning and codes
The City of Easton has selected Dwayne Tillman as its director of planning and codes, effective immediately. Tillman has been serving as the acting director for a few months, and Mayor Sal Panto Jr. held a press conference on Monday announcing Tillman’s permanent appointment. Former Director of Planning and Codes Stephen Nowroski stepped down in January to become manager of Moore Township.

Lane closing this week on I-78 West at Phillipsburg toll bridge
Traffic this week is being reduced to two travel lanes at the Phillipsburg toll bridge on Interstate 78, heading into Pennsylvania. The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission is shutting down the single lane from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday. The travel restriction begins with a tapered merge on the bridge’s I-78 westbound approach in New Jersey and continues with two open lanes across the bridge into Pennsylvania.
