State extends key financial aid deadline

Matthew Rutledge, 62, taught at Miss Hall’s School for more than 30 years. He was placed on administrative leave on March 27th and resigned a few days later.

This was after a former student reported him to the school for allegedly sexually abusing and exploiting her while she was a student and after graduating. Two other women have since come forward with similar claims.

The head of the school said they are conducting an external investigation.
