Local family hopes to continue winning on Family Feud

Tune in to Family Feud on Thursday evening to see if a local family can win again on Family Feud.

The Sprankle family won $20,000 on Wednesday’s show and are looking for more tonight.

Ryan Sprankle, one of the contestants, wasn't able to share the details on if they win again but, he did tell KDKA Radio what he plans on doing with his round one winnings.

“We decided all five members get an equal cut,” said Sprankle, adding he and another family member will be donating their funds to the Salvation Army food pantry.

Sprankle says it’s hard to believe they got to be a part of the show.

“It was an unbelievable experience, it was once in a lifetime,” said Sprankle. “It was just surreal. Like, we were there, you’re on the set of Family Feud, you have 50 million cameras and 50 million lights and you’re actually there.”

The Sprankle family's appearance on Family Feud was the culmination of a process which started three years ago.

The long-running syndicated game show airs on KDKA+ in the Pittsburgh area at 7:30 p.m.
