Dense fog issues to start off our Friday
HAZARD, KY. (WYMT) - Once the fog burns off we get some sunshine with the risk of a pop-up shower or thundershower. Spotty showers and thunderstorms are possible this evening under a partly cloudy sky. It will not rain constantly, but a few showers cannot be ruled out. Overnight lows fall into the lower-60s. Some fog is also possible.
Beshear announces nearly $850,000 for rubber mulch projects
Gov. Andy Beshear announced May 13 that $847,878 will be awarded to 23 counties, including Perry, for projects using recycled rubber. Projects range from park benches, picnic tables, landscaping, parking curbs, poured-in-place surfacing projects for walking trails, poured-in-place running track and poured-in-place playgrounds that use recycled waste tires, according to a statement from the governor's office.
