Man brought to hospital with gunshot wound to the head
YPSILANTI, MI -- Police are investigating after a man was dropped off at a hospital with a gunshot wound to the head. Washtenaw County Sheriff Deputies were called around 1:45 a.m., Sunday, April 28, to a local hospital for a man who had been brought to the emergency room with the wound, according to Eugene Rush, spokesperson for the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office. The man is in stable condition.

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI -- A man charged with torturing and sexually assaulting a woman in 2021 will undergo a psychiatric examination. The evaluation, ordered April 10 by Washtenaw County Trial Court Judge Carol Kuhnke, will determine whether Thomas Daniel Tieking, 44, can be held criminally responsible for torturing his then-girlfriend for 12 hours in February 2021 in their Augusta Township home.
