Authorities in Pima County searching for theft suspect
TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The PIma County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help to identify a theft suspect from an April 11 incident. According to PCSD, the suspect in the photo jumped the counter at a Circle K at 4395 N. Romero Road at approximately 3:51 a.m. and stole over $2,000 worth of cigarettes.

Deadly Motorcycle Crash on Nogales Highway: Details
A fatal motorcycle crash occurred last night near Nogales Highway and Delta Road, claiming the life of 19-year-old Caleb Goodwin and critically injuring another individual. Goodwin was riding southbound when an unlicensed and impaired 20-year-old, Jacile Javara, made a left turn, colliding with Goodwin's motorcycle. Javara's passenger is now in critical condition at the hospital. Javara has been arrested and is being held at Pima County Jail.
Pima Shelter Temporarily Closes Intake Due to Disease Outbreak, Encourages Adoption
Pima Animal Care Center has temporarily ceased intake until June 10th due to a recent increase in distemper and pneumovirus cases among dogs at the facility. Motorcyclist Killed in Collision, Truck Driver Charged
A tragic accident on the South Side claimed the life of 27-year-old motorcyclist Brian Ledesic over the weekend. The incident took place near South Nogales Highway and East Fenley Drive early yesterday morning. Deputies discovered Ledesic unresponsive at the scene and despite administering CPR, he was pronounced dead. The truck driver involved, 26-year-old Devin Dobbins, has been identified by the Pima County Sheriff's Department. Detectives reported that Dobbins turned his truck right in front of Ledesic's southbound motorcycle, resulting in the fatal collision. Dobbins, who was unharmed, has been booked into Pima County Jail on charges of causing death by moving violation. Due to the increasing number of dangerous street takeovers and sideshows in Tucson, the Sheriff's Department is intensifying enforcement efforts. To date, 38 individuals have been arrested for reckless driving and 19 for racing this year.

Joseph Zarate was in Block 1S, Cell 20 of the Pima County jail when a medical worker checked on the 29-year-old who had been detained for 46 days. They found him lying naked on his back on a bunk without a mattress near a toilet filled with brown water. His knees were up in the air. Dried feces was smeared on the bunk, as well as on his hands and buttocks.
