FRISCO, Texas - A big development in Frisco is about to see a major expansion. The 242-acre Frisco Station mixed-use development is getting up to five new office buildings. The Towers at Frisco Station will have new office space, an upscale hotel, and at least four more fine dining options.
Twilight Tunes returns for 2024 with free concerts on Thursday
Twilight Tunes, Denton’s outdoor concert series, returns this Thursday to the Square. Hosted by the Denton Main Street Association, the free event is entering its 31st year in 2024. Bowling for Soup, a pop punk band with longtime Denton roots, will perform a two-day show at the Lava Cantina in The Colony to celebrate anniversary milestones. The first will be the band’s 30th anniversary show on May 31, and the second will celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary release of their A Hangover You Don’t Deserve album on June 1.

University annual Art Mart returns with successful turn out
The university's annual Art Mart was held on Tuesday, April 23, from 12 to 4 p.m. in the Library Mall. Present at the event were 60 vendors, including students and non-students. The event included art to browse through, a swarm of attendees, food, a t-shirt tie-dye event, crafts, a live band and popcorn at the event's conclusion.
