Kevin Durant Calls Timberwolves-Suns Sweep A "Great Opportunity"

Kevin Durant has accomplished nearly everything imaginable on the basketball court. He's won an MVP and multiple NBA titles, but his legacy still gets questioned.

The Phoenix Suns star always faces scrutiny from the teams he surrounds himself with. Many have said that Durant can't excel without a super team, but even with three of the game's most proven scorers, the Suns got bounced in the first round.

Durant spoke on getting swept to the Minnesota Timberwolves after Game 4 and it seemed he wasn't entirely angry at the outcome.

Phoenix still has a lot of work to do after playing their first season with the Big 3 of Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal.

“It’s a great opportunity in the summertime to focus on your individual game. Enjoy your time off, but also realize, come back and try to make some adjustments so we can not go through this again," said Durant in the postgame press conference.

The veteran forward still has some gas left in the tank, but the clock is ticking.

If Durant wants to hoist up another Larry O'Brien trophy in his career, there needs to be a level of urgency from him and the Suns.
