Draymond Green brutally trolled by Jusuf Nurkic after Warriors eliminated from NBA postseason

Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic had the last laugh on Tuesday night as Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors saw their season end in disappointment.

The Warriors were steamrolled 118-94 by the Sacramento Kings in the NBA Play-In Tournament, the third time in the last five seasons that head coach Steve Kerr has failed to guide his team to the playoffs. After their fate was confirmed Nurkic posted two laughing emojis on social media, as he took one final swipe at Green .

Green was suspended for hitting Nurkic in the face earlier in the season when the Warriors faced the Suns in December. The two continued to beef following the incident as Nurkic claimed Green needs "therapy," which provoked the Warriors veteran into calling the Suns center an "embarrassment."

It's unlikely that their beef will end anytime soon, and all eyes are on their matchups during the 2024-25 season. However, this season is over for Green, while Nurkic and the Suns face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the NBA Playoffs beginning this weekend.

Green is yet to respond to Nurkic, but he will likely be keeping a close eye on how the Suns perform against the Timberwolves. Green was suspended for 12 games by the NBA for his incident with Nurkic back in December, something the Suns center believes he won't learn from.

The severity of Green's suspension was due to being a "repeat offender," and as one of the most suspended players in NBA history, it's hard to argue. Nurkic believes that Green will always play dirty, and told reporters earlier this season: "He's going to hit somebody else again. Take back everything I said. He doesn't deserve a chance."

Nurkic then doubled down on social media, as he wrote on X: "All good bad boy just don't stay too long on podcast, gonna be late for therapy session." Nurkic seemed to bait Green due to the Warriors star hosting his own podcast, and unsurprisingly Green responded.

"I must say, not very surprised that he went to the media and said what he said because that's the same guy that laid out on the floor when I made contact," Green said. "Bro, you're 300 pounds, get up off the floor bro." Green also said that Nurkic was a major reason for his 12-game suspension, and slammed him for making it look worse than it was.

"What an embarrassment and they expect to win with that guy. Really?" Green continued. "I thought it was really wack to go questioning my character because I destroyed you on a basketball court but quite frankly, I'm a four-time All-Star, four-time champion.

"I should destroy you on a basketball court. You are infamously known for getting traded to get you out the way of [Nikola Jokic] so [Jokic] can become who we all have known him to become. It's no surprise there."
