Phillipsburg High School Releases the Top 10 Graduates for the Class of 2024

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ - Phillipsburg High School announces the Top 10 Graduates for the Class of 2024. Out of a class of 488 students, the top 10 graduates were recognized for their excellence.
According to Superintendent Dr. Greg Troxell, “PHS has a proud tradition of academic excellence. I believe you will agree that this class is no different than the 149 classes that came before them.”
Ella Choi, the daughter of Laura and Stephen Choi, is the valedictorian of the PHS graduating class. This fall, Choi will be attending Barnard College of Columbia University majoring in public health on a pre-med track.
Cormac Flanagan, the son of Susie and Padraig Flanagan, is the salutatorian of the PHS graduating class. Flanagan will attend Villanova University this fall and pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
Erinne Hathaway, the daughter of Shawn Fuller and Daniel Hathaway, will be attending Temple University to study biochemistry on a pre-med track.
Arohi Kathuria, the daughter of Nidhi and Ajay Kathuria, will be attending Rutgers University majoring in finance. Kathuria also serves as the student rep for the School board.
Nicolas Socci, the son of Bettina and Edward Socci, will be attending New York University majoring in finance.
Brady Cooper, the son of Jasmin, Jessica and Jason Cooper, will be attending the University of Delaware majoring in chemical engineering.
Marvelous Shabi, the son of Oluseun Shabi, will attend Lehigh University to further his studies in computer science.
Margaret Thompson, daughter of Kristina and Bill Thompson, will attend Lafayette College and study art, focusing on art history.
Kylie White, the daughter of Michele and Doug White, will be attending the University of Delaware Honors College pursuing a degree in environmental engineering.
Brittany Gable, the daughter of Jen and Robert Gable, plans to attend Moravian University, double majoring in health sciences and music.
“This year’s top 10 students are an amazing group of kids! The staff at Phillipsburg High School continue to be proud of their dedication to academic excellence and their ongoing contributions to our community. We wish them continued success after graduation,” said PHS Principal Kyle Rovi.
“Congratulations to each of these 10 students, the entire Class of 2024 and their families,” said Troxell. “You should be very proud!”
