KIDS PLANT ON ARBOR DAY
The Phillips Tree Committee and 53 Phillips Elementary School fourth-graders commemorate Arbor Day with a tree planting at Sokol Park on April 25, 2024. As soon as Mayor Charles Peterson read an Arbor Day proclamation on the benefits of trees the students started planting a honey locust tree near Victoria street with committee members, city and county public works employees and Wisconsin DNR guiding the students.
