CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — State police said while digging up a water line for repairs, Rush Township employees stumbled upon a blasting cap, also known as a detonator.

Troopers determined the blasting cap had been left behind and buried during the construction of the water line years ago. Employees found the cap around 12:30 p.m. at 150 N Richard Street in Philipsburg on Monday.
