    One dead and dozens hurt in Philadelphia party bus crash

    One person has died and dozens have been injured in a party bus crash . The incident took place shortly after 6am on Sunday, May 5 when the alarm was raised of a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 95 in Harford County, Maryland .

    The bus reportedly belonged to Just Becuz Entertainment, which is based in Philadelphia . The company's website states it provides transportation from Philadelphia to New York , Baltimore and Washington, DC.

    Emergency services rushed to Maryland Route 543, a state highway, in Belcamp, reports Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. One was pronounced dead at the scene and 23 were rushed to hospital , many in serious condition.

    Ten patients were taken to University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake in Bel Air, eight to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, and five to University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Aberdeen.

    It is believed the party bus crashed into a guardrail, lost control, and crashed near mile marker 77 along the northbound lanes. The I-95 was closed for several hours but has since been reopened.

    It is understood no charges have been filed and the victims' names and ages have not yet been released. An investigation is underway.
