Tobias Harris' five-year, $180 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers is the worst ever in the history of Philadelphia sports, Joe DeCamara says.

“Of all the bad contracts in the history of Philadelphia sports—[former Flyers goalie Ilya] Bryzgalov, [former Phillies catcher] Lance Parrish, [former Eagles cornerback] Nnamdi [Asomugha], [former Eagles QB] Carson [Wentz]—there is NO DOUBT Tobias Harris is number one. He may be number one [worst contract] 50 years from now! He killed them!"

    Ilya Bryzgalov: 9 years, $51 million (June 23rd, 2011)
—Bryzgalov's contract was bought out by Flyers on June 25th, 2013

Lance Parrish: 1 year, up to $1 million (March 13th, 1987)
—Parrish was traded on October 3rd, 1988

Nnamdi Asomugha: 5 years, $60 million with $25 million guaranteed (July 29th, 2011)
—Asomugha was released after the 2012 season

Carson Wentz: 4 years, $128 million with $107 million guaranteed (June 6th, 2019)
—Wentz was traded on March 17th, 2021

Harris was acquired by the Sixers via trade in February of 2019 and signed the five-year, max extension with the organization on July 6th, 2019. He remained on the Sixers for entirety of his five-year contract, averaging 17.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game across 378 regular season games with Philadelphia.

Tobias Harris scored 0 points on 0-2 shooting in 29 minutes in Game 6 of the Sixers' first-round series loss against the Knicks, almost certainly his final game with the team.

Harris, who turns 32 on July 15th, averaged 9.0 points and 7.2 rebounds in 36.3 minutes per game the first-round of the playoffs against the Knicks while shooting 43.1-percent from the field.
