Port Clinton Hampton Inn & Suites set to open in spring 2025
What is it: Visitors to the Port Clinton/Catawba Island Township area will have a new lodging option come spring 2025. A new Hampton Inn & Suites is under construction at the corner of State Route 163 and State Route 53. The building, with a new design by Hilton, will have five stories with 93 guest rooms, along with a large indoor pool, waterfront patio, fire pit, large meeting room for events, fitness room, and waterfront lobby.
Clyde Army veteran receives new vehicle through 'Driven to Move' program

Events going on in Vermilion
The Vermilion Rotary Club is hosting “Vine and the Vintner” from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 2 at the Vermilion Valley Vineyards, 11005 Gore Orphanage Road, Wakeman. The event is open to anyone, to enjoy an evening among the rows to taste, socialize and talk wine with Joe Juniper from Vermilion Valley Vineyards. The cost is $10 per guest, which includes four tastings and live music by Hayley Watson. It’s a pet-friendly atmosphere and proceeds will assist Rotary initiatives.
