At least 11 dead in Mother’s Day weekend shootings across the country
At least 11 people, including a teenager, were killed in a spate of weekend shootings from Florida to Massachusetts. Three people were killed and 15 others were injured in gunfire at a party attended by an estimated 1,000 people in Stockton, Alabama, on Saturday night, Baldwin County Sheriff’s Capt. Shelter in Place order lifted after chemical spill shuts down south Alabama highway
CREOLA, Ala. — A Shelter in Place order has been lifted after a hazardous chemical spilled in Creola, Alabama, causing a highway to be shut down Monday. Saraland Fire Hazmat and Creola Fire responded to the scene on Highway 43, where nitric acid spilled from a tanker truck onto the ground, according to Mobile County officials.
