    Here is a full list of youth basketball camps around Peoria in the summer of 2024

    Summer basketball camp season has arrived with plenty of options for up-and-coming hoopers.

    Below are youth basketball camps scheduled from June through August at Peoria-area colleges and high schools. If you would like your camp included in this list, please send information to sports@pjstar.com.

    Peoria Notre Dame High School

    • Who: The PND boys coach, Tom Lacher, and PND girls coach, Layne Langholf, his assistants and players run the camp for incoming 2nd-8th graders.
    • When: Girls - June 3rd-6th: 2nd-5th grade 10-11:20 a.m. 6th-8th grade 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Boys - June 24th-27th: 5th-6th grade 9-10:30 a.m. 7th-8th 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
    • Where: PND High School in Peoria.
    • Cost: Boys - $50. Girls - $55.

    Peoria Public Schools

    • Who: Camp for K-6th graders, various times and days from June 3-June 27.
    • Where: Woodruff High School, 1800 NE Perry Ave, Peoria.
    • Cost: Free

    Coach Wardle's Basketball Camp

    • Who: Bradley men's basketball coach Brian Wardle runs an individual camp for incoming K-8th, boys and girls; 3-on-3 tournament for incoming 3rd to 8th grades. Three games guaranteed per weekend.
    • When: 9 a.m. to noon; June 10-11 (Session I) & June 17-18 (Session II); 1 p.m. July 28 and Aug. 4
    • Where: Renaissance Coliseum at Bradley University
    • Cost: $120 for individual camp or $100 for 3-on-3 tournament

    Illinois Central College

    • Who: 5th-8th grade boys all skills - 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. June 11-14; 4th-8th grade girls all skills - 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. June 17-19
    • Where: CougarPlex at Illinois Central College in East Peoria
    • Cost: Boys - $100. Girls - $85.

    Washington High School

    • Who: Coed 1st and 2nd, June 4-6, 8-9:15 a.m.; Girls - 3rd-5th grade (8-10:30 a.m.) and 6th-9th (10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.). Boys - 3rd-5th grade (8-10:30 a.m.) and 6th-9th (10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.).
    • Where: Coed 1st and 2nd at Washington Park District gym; 3rd-9th at Torry Gymnasium at Washington High School
    • Cost: Coed 1st and 2nd is $40. 3rd-9th is $60.

    Alec Peters Basketball Camp

    • Who: The former Washington, Valparaiso and NBA player hosts the camp. Boys and girls - Incoming 3rd-5th graders - 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and Boys and girls - Incoming 6th-8th graders - 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
    • When: July 9th-11th
    • Where: Washington Middle School

    St. Mary's - Kickapoo Youth Basketball Skills Camp

    • Who: Former Farmington football coach Casey Martin hosts the camp for boys and girls (K-1st) - 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. and (2nd-5th) 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
    • When: July 9th-11th
    • Where: St. Mary's - Kickapoo - 9910 W Knox St., Edwards
    • Cost: $40/$100 family maximum

    Curley 'Boo' Johnson's Skills for Life Basketball Academy

    • Who: The former Peoria High and Harlem Globetrotters player hosts the camp for boys (9-14-years-old) - 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Girls (9-14-years-old) 2-6 p.m.
    • When: Aug. 5th-9th
    • Where: Dunlap High, Dunlap Middle, Dunlap Valley schools
    • Cost: $190
